Lindsay AmstutzManager, Promotions & Community OutreachLindsay Amstutz is joined the athletics staff at Santa Clara University in February 2001 as the Manager of Promotions and Community Outreach. In her position, Amstutz oversees promotions for all sports as well as the department's community outreach efforts. Additionally, she served as the Assistant Tournament Manager for the 2002 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball West Regional that was hosted by Santa Clara University in March. She also serves as the Kidz Koordinator for Bronco Kidz. Amstutz came to Santa Clara following a stint at her alma mater, Stanford University. While with the Cardinal Athletic Department, Amstutz managed the marketing program for the women's volleyball team during the 1999 season, developing promotional ideas, creating advertisements and directing time-out activities. She originally joined Stanford as an intern for the 1999 NCAA Women's Division I Final Four, hosted by Stanford at the Compaq Center at San Jose. Amstutz received a bachelor's in Political Science from Stanford in June 2000. She went on to earn a master's in communication the following December. She has worked as intern in Washington, D.C., for the Department of Health and Human Services, researching policy and issues related to domestic violence and child maltreatment. Prior to entering Stanford, Amstutz was the founder and coordinator of the Mason Park Girls' Basketball League in Chatsworth, Calif. The program was the first of its kind in Los Angeles and has since served as a model for other girls' basketball programs at various Los Angeles city parks. Amstutz resides in San Francisco. |
